Komebukuro Rice Pouch Supply Bundle - Alamosa
Alamosa
$40.00
Durable and beautiful supplies for making a komebukuro rice pouch, or similar drawstring bag. The packs are named after cities in the U.S. that remind us of the color palette.
Pack includes:
- Fabric for the bag's exterior and lining -- fabrics are durable and beautiful such as: linen canvas, Essex linen, denim, painted linen canvas, vintage toile, chambray, and other wovens. Most can be used interchangeably on the interior or exterior.
- Patches for over stitching -- special fabrics that may include hand-blocked prints, vintage Japanese fabrics, Nani Iro linen, Liberty of London lawn, Merchant & Mills linen, kantha quilt scraps, and other hard-to-find pieces.
- Drawstring cord -- 2 pieces x 34" of either linen or cotton
- Sashiko thread -- 100% cotton
Each fabric pack contains the materials similar to those in the photo. All are carefully curated; the materials are sourced from small stocks of interesting materials that we find, thus variations are inherent.
Suggested drawstring bag patterns that are well suited for this supply bundle are:
- Mata Komebukuro Rice Pouch, coming soon
