Warbling White-Eye Embroidery Kit

Bring nature's spring melody to your embroidery!

This project invites you to stitch a "Mejiro" (or Warbling white-eye), a bird that’s a sure sign of spring in Japan. These little creatures are most noticeable from March to May, often seen around flowers and trees.

The project is a free stitch, which is best for intermediate users. This means there’s no stitch or color chart to follow—instead, you’ll have a pack of threads and a pre-printed cloth ready for you to bring your own vision to life. Ambitious beginners and those looking to choose their own thread colors and experiment with the stitches are welcome to try them as well.

This kit comes with instructions in Japanese as well as all materials required to create the motif. Each kit includes:

• 100% cotton DMC No. 25 embroidery thread 
• Pre-printed linen embroidery cloth 
• No. 9 embroidery needle 
• Instructions written only in Japanese, but with detailed illustrations that you can translate using these instructions. 

This seasonal series was designed by Chicchi. Chicchi is actually a pair of twin sisters, Chie and Mie Matsumoto, who love to express their creativity through motifs using life-like animals and plants in a story-like setting.
