Bead Stringing Tool
Probably the most effective tool for stringing beads onto your needle. Nurge's bead stringing tool is perfect for seed beads -- fill the bowl halfway, rotate the center spindle, and the beads will magically load onto your needle!
A time saving, fun way to load the small seed beads on thread for jewellery making, fringing, and applique etc. The bowl is made from hard beechwood, finely sanded and hand polished for a super smooth natural wood finish. The bowl is 110mm (4 1/4″) diameter and 32mm (1 1/4″) deep that sits on a wooden weighted base fixed to a free-running bearing with zero friction, therefore spins freely with ease. Included in the pack are two needles with a thread eye on one end and a unique pointed curve on the other end for ‘catching’ the beads.
How to use the Stringing Tool: Thread your needle with cotton or similar lace. load your bowl with the seed beads so that it is no more than half full. Turn the spindle and the beads will load onto your needle. Take out the needle and place the captured beads down your thread.
It’s amazing ~ but you will need to experiment where best to place the needle for the best effort to suit you and your beads ~ a couple of minutes of practice and you’ll be hooked!
This tool is designed for loading standard seed beads which are typically 2.5mm to 3.5mm in diameter.
