This is a spool of 100% undyed 5mm linen—perfect for jewelry, drawstring bags, or gift wrap. The durable cord will get softer over time, and remain strong. The cord will arrive on a spool, not on the decorative cards as shown here.

Linen is naturally stain-resistant, does not pile, and is moth-repellent. It is easy to wash as it can sustain high temperatures, is has very little if no shrinkage and is very strong. It is anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, hypo allergenic and thermoregulating, it will also absorb up 20% moisture before feeling damp.

Meanwhile, flax needs little or no pesticides either, and it can grow in poor-quality soil. One hectare of flax can retain 3.7 tonnes of CO2. Every part of the plant is used, and the seeds are used to produce linseed oil. Flax also makes paper, cattle feed or even soap. It is completely biodegradable and recyclable, and due to its natural absorbency, it requires less dye than cotton.
