"French embroidery," in general, refers to a variety of embroidery techniques that originated in France — which are usually known to produce beautifully detailed and elegant results. You'll experience a lot of these techniques in this project.

Each kit includes:

• 1x DMC no. 25 embroidery thread 
• Pre-printed pattern
• Adhesive interfacing
• Embroidery needle 
• Detailed instructions in Japanese, although there are good, colored diagrams

The frame is not included.

Makabe is a renowned Japanese embroidery artist known for her detailed and intricate nature-inspired designs. The Olympus patterns are some of her more challenging projects, making it perfect for those ready to take their embroidery skills to the next level.
