Midsummer Sketch Embroidery Kit by Alice Makabe

Bring the plants of midsummer into your embroidery!

This particular embroidery project features one month, August, and the flora and fauna that can commonly be seen at that time. The environment featured is that of Japan, where the designer is located. 

The technique for this kit is free stitching, which is best for intermediate users. This means means that it does not have a stitch and color chart for you to follow. Instead, you are encouraged to use the pack of threads and your creativity to embroider the pre-printed cloth as you wish. 

Ambitious beginners willing to select their thread colors and stitches will do well, too.

The designer of these patterns is the famous Alice Makabe. She uses a variety of stitches to create texture and depth in her work, which you'll really experience here!

This kit comes with instructions in Japanese* as well as all materials required to create the design.
