Sleeping Forest Embroidery Kit by Alice Makabe

The pattern features one month, December, and the animals and fauna that can commonly be seen at that time. The environment featured is that of Japan, where the designer is located. 

The technique for this kit is free stitching, which is best for intermediate users. Ambitious beginners willing to select their thread colors and stitches will do well, too. The project is free-stitch, which means that it does not have a stitch and color chart for you to follow. Instead, you are encouraged to use the pack of threads and your creativity to embroider the pre-printed cloth as you wish. 

The designer of these patterns is the famous Alice Makabe. She uses a variety of stitches to create texture and depth in her work, which you'll really experience here!

This kit comes with instructions in Japanese* as well as all materials required to create the design. Each kit includes:

• 100% cotton DMC no. 25 embroidery thread 
• Pre-printed linen embroidery cloth 
• No. 9 embroidery needle 
• Instructions written only in *Japanese, but with detailed illustrations.
