The entire book is written in Japanese*, but has tons of photos. We use a translation app on our phones to help extract additional meaning from the translated words.

*The 100 Ladies kits do not have English instructions yet. Here's how we work with our Japanese language projects. On our phone, we use the Google translate app. This app will translate almost any language to English. With the app open, select the little icon for the camera, and it will use your phone's camera to look at any written text, and in real time, it will show that test as English - right there on your screen! It's very cool and actually kind of fun to use.
