SewPure Organic Cotton Thread, 40 tex

Sewpure™ Tex 40 is a multi-purpose thread that is strong and smooth.  We recommend multi-purpose Sewpure™ Tex 40 for general sewing including sportswear, home decor, dolls and other products that will take some wear and tear.

SewPure thread is made of organic cotton grown and spun in India.  It is GOTS certified and put up on recyclable plastic cones that are individually wrapped in compostable, vegetable-based plastic to keep the thread and the environment clean. For home sewing, SewPure is spooled on 100% recycled content cardboard tubes.

This organic cotton thread is not affected by needle heat, pressing, or steaming. Natural-colored SewPure has not been processed in any way except washing, it is perfect for piece-dyeing (overdyeing).  Colored SewPure will not bleed or fade and the colors are not affected by washing.
