One-Yard Minimalist Top

A simple one size just-about-zero-waste shirt with a square neckline and side splits. Part machine and part hand-stitched. And as a bonus it is almost zero waste! What little is left can easily be used as a pocket, or saved for mending your favorite garment.

This pattern is ONE SIZE, the body width is determined by the width of your fabric. The length can be modified to your liking.

There are no pattern pieces for the shirt itself, but rather measurements for you to make the pieces. This item contains 2 PDF downloads with the following:
  • Overview
  • Drawings
  • Measurements for making the pattern pieces
  • Directions for cutting and sewing
  • Tips + diagrams for 3 types of hand stitches
  • Bonus PDF download with the pattern for the flower motif appliquéd on the natural linen version of the shirt

Skill Level: Advanced beginner. Basic machine and hand stitching skills needed.
